The BUILD Project is a community born public health initiative focused on combatting obesity and other diseases with self-care both physical and emotional. Community Health Workers (CHWs) work to keep their communities healthy and safe with the support of El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center, San Antonio Regional Hospital, Partners for Better Health, Huerta del Valle community garden, individual community members, schools and community centers.
